Local-first for live events

The operating system for presentation management.

PresOps gives production teams one controlled workflow for uploads, approvals, room downloads, NAS publishing, and audit trails, so the right file reaches the right room.

Local network first Keeps show-floor stations working on the event network.
Approved-only access Room techs download current approved files, not review clutter.
Version tracking Every upload keeps status, checksum, uploader, and timestamp.
Audit trails Uploads, approvals, publishes, downloads, and manifests are recorded.
Brandable portals Client-facing upload and operator views can match the event.
No raw NAS paths Storage stays behind authenticated PresOps workflows.

Map your event

Built for the pressure window

When doors open, the file story has to be boring.

PresOps keeps schedule imports, speaker handoffs, content approval, file publishing, and room tech downloads tied to the same source of truth. No exposed NAS paths. No mystery overwrites. No guessing which deck is current.

  • Import sessions, speakers, rooms, and expected files.
  • Track every uploaded version with status and metadata.
  • Approve or reject files before they reach rooms.
  • Publish only current approved decks to room techs.
01

Import

Load client schedules, map columns, and spot missing speaker or room data before show day.

02

Review

Approve, reject, relink, publish, and report on presentation versions from the content desk.

03

Deliver

Publish clean room manifests and approved decks to the right rooms, with audit trails behind every step.

Workflow

From speaker upload to room-ready file.

Schedule CSV

Admin imports the show

Sessions, speakers, rooms, operators, and expected files become structured event data.

Speaker upload

Speaker finds their session

Uploads create pending immutable versions with safe storage keys and upload metadata.

Content manager

Files are approved or rejected

Review status, current-approved pointers, relinks, notes, and publishing actions are tracked.

Room tech

Only approved files appear

Room stations show schedules, readiness, manifests, and current approved downloads.

Deployment

Built to keep working on-site, even when internet is not your friend.

PresOps is built around an on-site server, local operator access, and role-specific station wrappers for room tech and speaker upload workflows. Remote support can come later through secure app-level tunnel patterns; show operation stays LAN-first.

On-site PresOps Server Runs locally on the event network so operators and stations keep working without public internet. Technical stack: Django, PostgreSQL, private upload storage, publishing jobs, and audit logs.
Operator Browser Gives admins and content managers setup, branding, import, reporting, and review workflows.
Room Station Wrapper Auto-connects to the local server and opens approved-file workflows for each room.
Speaker Upload Wrapper Gives speaker-ready desks a simple upload path for presenter handoffs and late changes.

Licensing

Flexible licensing for event-based production teams.

PresOps licensing is designed around server-bound event, monthly, and annual options. Limits can be based on rooms, content managers, and admins while the local server caches signed license state for offline show operation.

  • Event licenses can start from a one-week base and scale for longer shows.
  • Pricing rules stay configurable while packaging and customer plans settle.
  • Clock rollback resistance belongs in license state, not a soft UI warning.

Show-critical controls

Compliance-supporting controls for speaker-ready operations.

PresOps is built with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 readiness in mind, including role-based access, immutable file versioning, audit logs, controlled publishing, secure wrapper access, and operational evidence capture.

No raw storage paths

Downloads go through authenticated backend endpoints, keeping NAS and private storage paths hidden.

Versioned uploads

PresOps keeps original filename, safe key, checksum, size, extension, uploader, timestamp, and status.

Auditable actions

Uploads, approvals, rejections, publishes, imports, exports, downloads, and manifests leave a trail.

Brandable portals

Client event branding loads from the app, so portals and reports can match the show without code changes.

Compliance boundary matters.

For customer-installed local servers, their venue network, laptops, NAS, and operators are usually outside our compliance boundary unless we operate or manage them. PresOps has compliance-supporting controls, but that does not make every deployed customer instance compliant by default.
